Niccolò Meneghello Ponce

I am currently a student of Bachelor in Biology with specialization in Microbiology and Parasitology. My goal is to apply the knowledge acquired during my 4 years of academic preparation to successfully complete my thesis work. In the long term, I aspire to contribute to projects, specifically in laboratory analysis, developing skills that will allow me to grow and train as a professional in the field.My goal is to take advantage of opportunities to collaborate on studies that positively impact public health and human safety. I have experience at the Gorgas Memorial Institute for Health Studies (ICGES), where I participated as an intern for a month in the project entitled “Evolution of the Respiratory Syncytial Virus and Metapneumovirus circulating in Panama”.

Currently, I am doing my thesis internship in the Department of Dynamics of Emerging Viral Diseases, investigating the seroprevalence of Dengue in 10 districts of the Republic of Panama.

Studies: – Degree in Biology with specialization in Microbiology and Parasitology, Universidad de Panama (2020 – present).
