Marlin González
BSc, M.Ed.
With a solid background as a lawyer and a postgraduate degree in Higher Education with Research Emphasis, I have cultivated a trajectory that merges law, science and education. For over two decades, I have worked at this intersection, centering on agricultural and One Health projects focused on plant growth regulators and the prevention of zoonotic diseases and arboviruses in the neotropics.
As co-creator of DEZED ONE “Disease Education in Zoonotic Environments Development” I promote social equity and community inclusion, inspired by the fifth helix model of innovation management. This fosters collaboration between academia, industry, government, civil society and the environment, strengthening the advances in technologies and communications. My interdisciplinary approach is reflected in my research and project management skills, as well as in my ability to ejectively address contemporary challenges. My mission is to contribute to the well-being of local and global communities through applied scientific research and community action, highlighting the importance of environmental sustainability and planetary health.
