My interest in joining the Carson Centre stems from the opportunity to contribute to the scientific efforts in controlling zoonotic and emerging diseases in the Darién region. As the farm administrator, I have direct contact with the local population and the research conducted by the Carson Centre. This role allows me to play a pivotal part in supporting the scientific initiatives aimed at addressing health challenges in the region and furthering our understanding of emerging diseases.
